Privacy notice

Your audio never leaves your phone. snoreMIC records and analyses your snoring on the phone. There is no account, and we never receive your recordings, clips, scores or nights.

What stays on your phone

• Your nights: scores, snore events and graphs
• Sound clips of your snores
• What you log: how you felt, factors and remedies
• Your onboarding answers and settings

All of it is kept in the app's private storage. It is not copied to Google Drive or moved by Android's backup.

What leaves your phone

• Anonymous usage events (Google Firebase Analytics): for example, a night started or stopped, a report opened, a remedy tried, the paywall shown. They never carry audio, scores, sleep times or your answers. They use a random install ID, not your name, email or advertising ID. They are always on.
• Crash reports (Google Firebase Crashlytics): the app version, your phone model, the Android version and the error. Nothing about your nights.
• Purchases go through Google Play. We see whether you bought Premium, never your payment details.

Microphone

The app uses the microphone only while you are recording a night.

Exports

When you export your data, you choose where the file goes. After that, the app no longer controls it.

Deleting your data

Go to Settings, then Storage, then Delete all my data. Uninstalling the app also removes everything. We hold no copy to delete.

This website

The website counts visits with Vercel Web Analytics. It uses no cookies and does not identify you.

Health

snoreMIC is a wellness app, not a medical device. It does not diagnose sleep apnea or any other condition.
